Frequently asked questions about Forbo Allura
What is the difference between Dryback, Enduro, Flex, Click Pro, and Decibel?
Dryback and Enduro are glue-down vinyl (Dryback 0.55 mm robust, Enduro 0.30 mm as an affordable entry level). Flex is loose-lay and is installed without glue. Click Pro is the click vinyl for floating installation. Decibel is glue-down vinyl with integrated impact sound insulation.
What does "loose-lay" mean for Forbo Allura Flex?
The planks are installed loosely without glue or a click system; their own weight and the slip-resistant backing keep them in place. You can replace individual planks at any time, which is practical for damage or in rental spaces.
Does Forbo Allura have integrated impact sound insulation?
The Decibel series does; it reduces impact sound by about 19 dB and is also available in herringbone. For the other series, you can use a suitable underlay if needed.
Is Forbo Allura waterproof and suitable for underfloor heating?
Yes. All Allura floors are 100% waterproof, making them suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, and hallways, and are approved for hot-water underfloor heating.
Can I order Forbo Allura as a sample in advance?
Yes. Order your sample conveniently to your home and compare the decor and haptics in peace before making your decision.
