Frequently asked questions about CHECK vinyl flooring

What is the difference between CHECK One and CHECK SPC?

CHECK One is a click vinyl with a softer structure and, in almost all decors, includes integrated IXPE impact sound insulation; it also has the largest selection of decors. CHECK SPC has a mineral stone core, making it more dimensionally stable during temperature fluctuations and a good fit for sunny rooms or underfloor heating.

Which CHECK floors already have integrated impact sound insulation?

For CHECK One, CHECK comfort, CHECK PET, and most SPC floors, IXPE insulation is laminated on at the factory. You save the cost of a separate insulation underlay, and the floor is noticeably quieter when walked on. Whether your desired decor includes it is stated directly on the product.

How long is the warranty on CHECK vinyl flooring?

That depends on the series. CHECK One, CHECK comfort, and CHECK expert come with a 15 or 20-year warranty for residential use and 15 years for commercial use; two decors even have a 30-year residential warranty. World of SPC, World of Dryback, and Das neue Vinyl have 10 years. For CHECK SPC, the manufacturer does not provide its own warranty; the statutory 2-year warranty applies there. The exact information is listed with each product.

Which CHECK floor fits in the bathroom?

For damp rooms, choose glue-down vinyl or an SPC floor; both are water-resistant and sit fully bonded or dimensionally stable on the subfloor. Click vinyl with a wood-based core does not belong in the bathroom. You can find suitable models in our vinyl flooring for the bathroom collection.

Can I order CHECK as a sample in advance?

Yes. Order your sample comfortably to your home and take your time comparing the decor and feel before you decide.
