What is the difference between Roots, LayRed, and Origin?
Roots is the broad decor program. LayRed comes with a factory-integrated underlay, saving a step during installation. Origin is available both for clicking and gluing. The number in the name refers to the wear layer: 40 corresponds to 0.40 mm, 55 corresponds to 0.55 mm.
Do I still need impact sound insulation for LayRed?
No. With LayRed, the underlay is already firmly attached to the plank. Additional insulation is neither necessary nor recommended. Our guide on impact sound insulation under vinyl flooring explains when insulation makes sense at all.
Click or dryback, which is better?
Dryback is glued over the entire surface, has a low profile, and conducts heat well, but requires a cleanly prepared subfloor. Click is installed as a floating floor, is finished faster, and is also practical for rental apartments.
Is Moduleo suitable for underfloor heating?
Yes, generally for hot-water underfloor heating. Observe the heating protocol and the maximum surface temperature.
